Fleece Coolant Bypass Kit - Ram 2500/3500 6.7L Cummins (2013-2018)
Coolant bypass kit for the 2013-2018 Ram 6.7L Cummins (manufacturer part FPE-CLNTBYPS-CUMMINS-1318). The rear cylinders on this engine see the least coolant flow and the highest temperatures, which builds pressure that can push out freeze plugs. This kit adds a temperature-actuated secondary thermostat - it works off coolant temperature rather than pressure alone - plus front and rear thermostat housings, a braided nylon bypass hose with AN O-ring fittings, and new EGR crossover tube gaskets. Trucks with the factory transmission fluid heat exchanger also need Chrysler heater tube 68048997AA, sold separately.
