Ford 4C3Z-9B246-F STC HPOP Fitting Update Kit - Ford F-250/350/450/550 6.0L Powerstroke (2004.5-2007)
Genuine Ford update kit for the snap-to-connect (STC) fitting between the high-pressure oil pump and the branch tube on the 6.0L Powerstroke. The original two-piece fitting can flex, wear its seals and leak - or separate - causing hot no-starts, stalling and loss of injection pressure. The updated one-piece-style fitting and support bracket in this kit are Ford's approved fix, and fitting it preventively whenever the pump is exposed is common practice. Includes the support bracket, branch tube adapter, HPOP adapter fitting, hydraulic pump seal kit and pump/branch-tube bolts. Fitment caveat: this kit is for late 2004.5-2007 engines with the STC-style HPOP (trucks built after 9/22/03 with the later pump) - early 2003-2004 pumps use a different fitting and are not covered.
