The PSC SP1490 is a new (not remanufactured) high-performance power steering pump for 1997-2002 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 trucks with the 5.9L Cummins, intended for cylinder-assist or full hydraulic steering setups. Its larger ring and rotor displace more fluid per revolution than stock, which helps steering performance at low engine RPMs on modified trucks. It is ported to produce approximately 1500-1600 PSI and 3.0 GPM, includes the input driveshaft cog and fittings, and does not include a reservoir can so the existing can is reused. Diesel models only.
