SuperSprings SSA17.5 Helper Spring (Single Side, 2,500 lb Capacity) - Ford F-450/F-550 Super Duty Chassis Cab (1999-2021)
SuperSprings self-adjusting steel helper spring for Ford F-450 and F-550 Super Duty chassis cab trucks, 1999-2021 (the same spring also fits GM Kodiak/Topkick 4500/5500 and Express/Savana 4500 cutaways). The .5 part numbers are sold as individual single-side units - order two for a complete pair. Each side adds 2,500 lbs of load-leveling ability (4,400-5,000 lbs per pair depending on rating source), cutting rear-end sag and body roll under load without hardening the unloaded ride, thanks to the patented roller-shackle design that only engages as weight is added. Shot-peened SAE 5160H steel, maintenance-free, typical install about an hour with the included mounting kits. Chassis cab models only - do not use on pickup models - and never load beyond the truck's GVWR.
