The Walker 273-10001 is a direct-fit replacement exhaust gas temperature (EGT) sensor for your 2011-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax LML, located after the diesel particulate filter (rear position). EGT sensors feed critical temperature data to the ECM for DPF regeneration and turbo protection — a failed sensor means wrong readings, regen problems, and check-engine lights.
